It’s your walking holiday and it is important it is a success

Organising a successful walking holiday with luggage transfer along a long distance path takes time and experience and a little patience.

Celtic Trails will plan your walking holiday and take care of all the arrangements, whilst you relax, enjoying the walking and coastal scenery in your own time,

You stay in a mixture of delightful character accommodation along the way, which we book in advance, enjoying warm hospitality and a hearty breakfast. We handle all the day-to-day logistics of the walk, provide you with all maps, route guides and notes and plan your daily distances. We move your luggage forward to await you on arrival at your next accommodation, where you can change and relax at the end of a fulfilling day.

Celtic Trails itineraries allow you to a choice of walking holiday options to suit your pace, abilities and interests.

Accommodations

As a walking company we know the difference comfortable and friendly accommodation makes at the end of a long day's walk. With Celtic Trails you stay in high standards of accommodation along the way, mainly with private or en-suite facilities. Occasionally, because of the age and character of the house it may not be possible to always offer private facilities but this will not detract from the standard and comfort you can expect of the accommodation.

Classic Service

A mixture of high standard family run Guesthouses , Farmhouses and character B&Bs and local Inns with en-suite or private facilities.

• B&B with full breakfast Menu.
• Flexible itinerary with choice of daily distances to suit requirements.
• Walk pack, maps, guide book, local information.
• Daily luggage transfers.
• Packed lunches can be pre-booked.
• Evening meals can be ordered in house where available or had at nearby Inns or restaurants.

You can include a rest day (recommended) to add local interest to your holiday. St Davids's, Newport and Tenby are all very interesting locations to enjoy a day off and sample local culture.

Classic Plus

You can upgrade your accommodation to include some high quality Country Inns, Hotels and Country Houses, with en-suite or private bathroom, a high standard of food and facilities and sometimes more formal service.

•   Options to include historical and cultural visits to castles, gardens etc.
•   Walk pack, maps, guide book, local information.
•   Daily luggage transfers.
•   Collection on arrival and departure to nearest rail station.

Dinner can be included in house where available or in nearby restaurants.

Planning your walk
With Celtic Trails itineraries you can start on any day of the week.
You can choose to walk as many stages as you wish. If you wish to miss a stage, we will take you onto your next night's accommodation. We suggest you include a rest day to add local interest to your holiday. St Davids, Newport or Tenby are all places worth a day of very pleasant exploration . A trip to Skomer Island is also a recommended experience to wander round this unique island sea bird sanctuary We can arrange to collect you from the station if coming by train and at the end of your walk arrange transportation you to your departure point.

Transfer at departure.
Celtic Trails can arrange to return you from the end of your walking holiday to the nearest railway station at Haverfordwest

Airport collection and return.
Celtic Trails own minibuses can collect and return you to Heathrow /Cardiff / Bristol Airport. Please contact us for cost

City Heritage Break Bath
Extend your holiday at the beginning or end of your walk with relaxing City break in Bath. Now a Unesco world heritage site, Bath is famous for the wonderful Georgian architecture, Roman Baths is packed with places to visit.

We will book your accommodation in a choice of personally selected Hotels or town B&B’s and provide you with maps, guide book and list of places, tea rooms and restaurants, to enjoy.
